She comes to me in my early morning meditation.

As the rain touches the ocean,

She touches my cheek.

Mae Thorani.

Earth Goddess.

Mother of all we walk on and all we see.

Washer of man’s sins.

And Mae Thorani  speaks to me as the rain clears and the sun strikes through the shifting, morning clouds.

‘All will be well my son. You have been given another day.

You can start again. That is my gift.

And if you so choose, your re-gift is back to the Earth.

Be a source of peace and love.

Be clear in your intentions.

And hold those close who need the warmth of your arms and the caress of your breath.

Speak gently and wisely to those who look into your eyes.’

My meditation drifts into sleep and the Earth Goddess rides the horizon to others who reach out for her guidance.

She is the Foundation that tethers the Gods to our planet.

Without her golden footprint the Earth is merely a spinning, disconnected rock spinning off into space.

We have ignored her quiet voice but an awakening has begun.

From the womb and back again.

And I am awake.

Again.

A new day.

Who will you be boy?

Man or boy?

Who will you be?
